“I Want You To Be My Baby” was the first English-language pop song produced in Hong Kong, year 1957. Sung by the exceptional singer and actress (31 movies), Grace Chang (Chang Yulan).
A great number of pop bands appeared in Hong Kong during the golden era of the British Pop Music (1964 thru 1969). Musicians of different nationalities (Chinese, British, Swedish, Portuguese, Filipinos, Indians, among others) were active in Hong Kong, normally covering versions of songs from the UK and the USA. This is my tribute to those magnificent Hongkong Pop Artists that were part of my happy teenage days.
